Being able to be immortal has always been the desire of humans, for some more, for others less, of course. In our next event we want to listen to the expert José Luis Cordeiro about the advances in the area of ​​immortality and then discuss this topic with everyone. Can we be immortal one day? Do we want to be? And how would this affect quality of life? And how would this affect society, the environment and the planet? Is it ethical to live immortally? We want to discuss all of these questions. Our guest, José Luis Cordeiro is an international member of the World Academy of Art and Science, executive director of the Red Iberoamericana de Futuristas, director of The Millennium Project, vice president of Humanity Plus, as well as former director of the Club of Rome (Venezuelan Chapter), of Humanity Plus and the Extropy Institute.

In turn, he has been a visiting professor at academic institutions such as the Institute of Developing Economies in Tokyo, the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico, the University of the Singularity of Silicon Valley, California, the Institute of Physics and Technology of Moscow and the Higher School of Economics in Russia. He has published more than 10 books in various languages, including his latest bestseller ‘The Death of Death’.

He describes himself as a transhumanist, singularitarian, and immortalist. In fact, he considers himself to be an individual from the 22nd century who was accidentally born in the 20th century.
