TEDxBarcelonaSalon 3.12.12

At our TEDxBarcelonaSalon events we foster networking, dialog and the discussion among all members of TEDxBarcelona. In order to achieve this we meet once a month and listen to an interesting talk. After watching the talk we discuss about the presented subject. In order to make this event effective we limit the number of attendees.

Our December-TEDxBarcelonaSalon event took place on Monday, 3rd of December at 18:45 at the library Excellence (C/ Balmes 191).

The next age of government

The leader of Britain’s Conservative Party says we’re entering a new era — where governments themselves have less power (and less money) and people empowered by technology have more. Tapping into new ideas on behavioral economics, he explores how these trends could be turned into smarter policy. David Cameron is the prime minister of the UK and the leader of the UK’s Conservative Party. Can we apply these ideas also to Spain?

We watched the video together (in english with spanish subtitles). As always, we discussed about the content presented (in spanish) among all attendees. We finished the event with networking and a glass of cava.
